The British Film Commission at Toronto International Film Festival 2024
The British Film Commission’s US team was proud to attend the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2024, flying the flag for the UK screen industries on the international stage.
We were delighted to partner with Screen UK Industry, the British Film Institute and Screen Scotland to represent the UK at TIFF’s UK stand. A key event in our festival calendar, TIFF 2024 provided a fantastic opportunity to connect and engage with international industry friends and partners to discuss the UK’s competitive offer – reliable tax incentives, world-renowned talent and crew, state-of-the-art facilities, diverse locations, cutting-edge VFX and post-production services, and more.
We also co-hosted the GREAT Tea event at KŌST at the Bisha Hotel, in partnership with BAFTA North America, the British Film Institute, BBC Film, Film4 and the British Consulate in Toronto. Supported by the GREAT Campaign, this event celebrated the outstanding array of UK films and co-productions in selection at TIFF and the incredible creative talent involved.
